BIO / ANDREW TAMARKIN
Andrew was cast in his first play when he was 9-years-old. He hasn’t stopped performing since. On camera, Andrew brings subtle yet expressive choices to every character he plays. From narrative film sets to vertical micro-dramas, he is known to bring a sprinkle of comedy to dramatic roles.
Since moving to Los Angeles, he has acted in dozens of projects across the indie landscape. Some highlights include “Sage” in the horror film Efflorescence (Dir. Sofia Garza-Barba), which premiered at LALIFF; “Kaden” in the award-winning short film When the Clock Stops, which premiered at the 2025 Pasadena International Film Festival; “Zac” in Mother’s Love (Dir. Isaac Josephthal, Prod. Emma Steiger), “Jean Paul” in Ultimately Cleansed (Dir. Andrew Tippie), "Adrian" in Purple Sky (Dir. Abby Royce), and “Noah” in award-winning TV Pilot, Feeling Vertigo (Dir. Charlotte Kennett).
He’s begun his journey in the micro-drama vertical space, where he’s played supporting roles. You can also catch him as a recurring actor in the globally-popular Dhar Mann episodes on YouTube.
He is inspired by dynamic, larger-than-life characters that subtly push the status quo. Whatever the role and whatever the project, he is a natural collaborator, an artist at heart, and always comes prepared.
He studies with Ivana Chubbuck at her acting studio in Hollywood. In his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling, and being outside.
